Vanilla cupcakes with Butter cream Frosting

Intended for serving 10 people

1- Two cups / 500 ml flour

2- ½ teaspoon salt

3- Two teaspoons / 2 ml baking powder

4- ½ cup / 125 ml butter (softened)

5- ¾ cup / 175 ml sugar

6- Two eggs

7- One cup / 250 ml milk


Intended for frosting;

1-One cup butter 250ml (softened)

2- half cup confectioners’ sugar

3-One teaspoon milk 5ml

4-One teaspoon vanilla extracts 5ml

5- ¼ teaspoon salt

Method ;

Beat, cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy, and then beat in eggs 1 at a time, add flour, baking powder and salt alternating with milk. Beat the ingredients thoroughly. Preheat oven to 190 C (375 F), line muffin cups with papers then pour evenly amid pans and bake for 18 minutes.

Note; Let the cupcakes cool down!




Method for frosting;

Combine butter, sugar and salt in a bowl and beat until blended, now add milk and vanilla and beat for an additional 4 to 5 minutes / until smooth and creamy.
